Moshe Dayan (1915-1981) Israeli military leader and politician. Commander of the Jerusalem front in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces( 1953-1958) and Defense Minister during the Six Day War of 1967, he became a worldwide fighting symbol of the new State of Israel. Later as Foreign Minister of the Likud led Government, he played an important part in negotiating the Peace Treaty between Egypt and Israel.

I am back from Morocco on March 28th 1972 and I really want to come and attend a conference with you. Meanwhile I am about to leave for the USA on a mission in early February, only after my return from that can I decide, in friendship Moshe Dayan, Minister of Defence.
