Letter from Prime Minister Golda Meir dated 1972

Jerusalem to Mr A. Amster of Hlstadrut. "My deepest thanks to you for your invitation to attend the rally to mark the anniversary of Histadrut construction workers. Unfortunatey, due to a previous commitment I was unable to accept. The Histadrut of Construction workers has come a long way from its humble beginnings.

From 1922 until this Jubilee year our struggle and creation are entwined by an Inseparable connection. Our resurrection In the land, our cities and towns scattered through the country are a faithful testimony to the tractate of Labor and to the creations of the construction workers who simply fulfill the mltzvah of settlement and building the land. In this year of your Jubllee, a year of great aliyah, I express the hope of us all for the future and for the continued glorious contribution of your Histadrut to the great enterprise of the revival of Israel in it's land, Congratulations friends, Golda Meir"
